Will Musalia be the surprise candidate for Presidency ?

The Mountain Journal

Amani National Congress (ANC) is working on ways to reach out Central Kenya residents to support its leader Musalia Mudavadi for Presidency.

The team led by party’s deputy leader Ayub Savula and Secretary General Simon Gikuru have been visiting the region severally wooing the locals in the counties to support Musalia who has declared interest.

Speaking in Murang’a when they addressed more than 1,000 women at the start of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, they said Musalia has the leadership qualities and can be relied upon to revive the national economy.

“Musalia has managed to bring together national leaders through the OKA Initiative for the interest of building a strong nation after the exit of President Uhuru Kenyatta,” said Musalia when he accompanied Murang’a MP Sabina Chege.

Savula the Lugari MP hinted that in the OKA unity that has eloped former Gichugu MP Martha Karua, Kanu Chairman Gedion Moi will guide the country in the transition politics with hope that Musalia   could be the surprise Presidential candidate for President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“ In the mountain there have been people claiming they are ascending  Mt Kenya yet they are playing politics, but Musalia is holding serious talks with the grassroot leaders in  the region,” said Savula.
